About Me

Leo - Chief Steward

ello! Hello! My name is Leo and I am the Chief Steward taking care of Royal Momiji Cafe! I used to own a repair business in 2018 and ran until the covid lock down in 2022 where I then joined the Canadian Armed Forces for a bit of training and came home to pursue my real dream in 2025, Maid and Butler Cafes!!

The idea to start a cafe all began when I was reading the new spin off of soul eater back in 2011/2012, "Soul Eater Not!”. I was impaired by how nice Deathbucks Cafe looked and the unique but fashionable uniforms, especially how sharp the gentlemen looked. I thought to myself “I wanna work there too! Look good and say cool things on the job!” I want to give it my all to others who are just as caring for each other and passionate about their craft.

I, of course, have also been immensely inspired by Black Butler which was similarly popular at the time. I loved the formalities of the series and how Sebastian does everything perfectly, especially his courtesy which drives me to create the perfect place where we can enjoy that courtesy together!

About Us

Royal Momiji Café is an upcoming maid & butler café created by people who adore Japanese-inspired maid/butler culture, anime, card games, novels, and everything in between!

We wish to make the maid and butler cafe experience much more than simple events that pop up once in a while, with freshly crafted meals that are genuinely satisfying like a real restaurant, all the magic of the community and the perfect place to be catered by a team of dedicated maids and butlers who enjoys the art of attending to our dearest patrons.

Royal Momiji Cafe aims to be the professional standard for maid and butler cafes in Toronto. We want the best for those who share the same passions as well.

Our Goals

To achieve this dream, our goal is to get enough support to eventually launch our permanent location. We hope to be able to accommodate many people’s needs and wishes, such as having a third space to hang out with friends, a place to meet like minded people, a cool place to work at, even simply wanting to be treated nicely, among many other goals we wish to achieve together!

As someone who felt like the perfect place for all these needs is lacking in Toronto, we hope to build it here!

Please continue to follow us and support our journey! We look forward to making your day pleasant goshujin-sama!
